Your Garmin watch tracks everything.
We make it mean something.

Data is not understanding. Context is.

A low Body Battery could mean you slept poorly, trained too hard, or are fighting off a virus. By cross-referencing your HRV baseline, sleep stages, and daily stress metrics, the AI strips away the noise to give you clear, natural language insights about your immediate readiness and recovery needs.

Your health, decoded.

Every metric matters.

Frequently asked questions

Why did you make this free?

We're living in an era where anyone with AI can build software. I created this project myself and decided to share it openly. If you have a Garmin watch, you deserve to understand your own health data without paying a subscription. The code is on GitHub — download it, run it yourself, make it your own.

How do I install it?

Clone the repo from GitHub, run Docker Compose, and you're set. The first-run wizard in your browser walks you through connecting your Garmin account and choosing an AI provider. Total setup time: under 5 minutes.

What AI providers are supported?

Groq (free tier), OpenRouter (many free models), Ollama (100% local and private), OpenAI, Mistral, and Google AI. You pick what works for you — free options work great.

Which Garmin watches are supported?

All Garmin watches and devices that sync with Garmin Connect — including Forerunner (165, 265, 965), Fenix (7, 8), Venu (2, 3), Epix (Gen 2), Instinct (2, 3), Enduro 3, Tactix, Approach (golf), Edge (cycling), and Index (smart scale). If it connects to Garmin Connect, it works with us.

Is my data secure?

Yes. When you self-host, your data never leaves your machine. Garmin credentials are encrypted, chat messages are encrypted, and nothing is sent to third parties except the AI provider you choose. Full transparency — inspect the code yourself.

What health metrics does it analyze?

Heart rate variability (HRV), sleep quality and stages, stress levels, body battery, training load, VO2 max, resting heart rate, respiration, SpO2, and more — depending on what your Garmin device tracks.

How does the AI coaching work?

The AI cross-references your HRV baseline, sleep stages, and daily stress metrics to find patterns you might miss. Ask it anything about your data in plain language — in English or Russian.

Is this medical advice?

No. Vitality AI Coach provides educational insights based on your health data. Always consult a healthcare professional for medical decisions.
